What are the Inclined Wheelchair Lift for accessible stairs?
Standing and lifting stair lifts are designed for narrow staircases and are not available for regular chairlifts due to their narrow width. They are only suitable for older people who are able to stand for a few minutes (i.e. the time it takes to get up and down stairs). They can hold the rails for safety.
If they can’t even stand standing for a short time, then a slift chair on the stairs is the choice. The difference between a standing and a lift elevator is that the lift model has support under the hips to help reduce the weight of the elderly’s legs. Both models have the same function as the seat lift because the pedals can be folded and the rails can be folded.
